That's a wrap on 2025-26, see you in September

The 2025-26 training year wrapped up on Wednesday 17 June. Cadets spent the night cleaning up and closing the squadron down for the summer, while staff, officers, and the Sponsoring Committee met to take stock of the year and start planning the next one.

And it was a full year. Cadets took part in a weekend field training exercise at Camp Wright, gave back to the city through community service, put on a cadet-run talent show, and capped it all off with the Annual Ceremonial Review and its promotions and awards.

The squadron now stands down for the summer break, with some cadets heading off to cadet training centres across the country. Regular Wednesday parade nights resume in September.

If your child is between 12 and 18 and curious about flying, leadership, the outdoors, and a bit of adventure, the start of a new training year is the perfect time to join. Have a look at how to join. We would love to meet them.
