How to pay by Interac e-transfer

Interac e-transfer is the easiest way to pay, and autodeposit is active on our account. We also accept cash and cheque in person (see below). We are not able to accept credit or debit card payments.

  1. Open your bank's app or online banking and choose "Send Interac e-transfer" (the exact label varies by bank).
  2. Enter the recipient address: payments@12aircadets.ca
  3. Enter the amount for your payment.
  4. Add a message or memo. This is the most important step for our records. Please include:
    • Your cadet's rank and full name
    • Your name (the parent or guardian sending the transfer)
    • What the payment is for (for example: Volunteer Bond, dinner RSVP, or trip deposit)

Example message: "Cpl Jane Smith, sent by John Smith, Volunteer Bond 2026-27"

  5. Send the transfer. Because autodeposit is enabled, the funds go directly into the squadron account with no further action needed from you.

About the security question. Because autodeposit is active, most banks will not ask you to set a security question. If your bank still does, choose any question and answer you like; we do not need it, as the transfer deposits automatically.

Questions?

For questions about a payment, a balance, or a tax receipt, contact the SSC Treasurer at treasurer@12aircadets.ca, or the Sponsoring Committee at all@12aircadets.ca.

Cash or cheque

You can also pay by cash or cheque in person. Hand it to any Sponsoring Committee member or volunteer on a Wednesday training night at the squadron, and note your cadet's name. Please make cheques payable to No 12 Edmonton RCAC Support Club.

Cards not accepted

We are not able to accept credit or debit card payments. Card processing carries fees, and the squadron does not have card machines.
